Team leader Sales Operations (Operational)

Introduction

Your Tasks
  • Supporting Sales Managers and customers at each stage of the (pre-) Sales process through provision of data, knowledge base, problem resolution, workflow and administrative support and query solution.
  • Providing high quality After Sales Service with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Contributing and taking initative to develop any systems and processes to support and improve these responsbilities.
  • Performance evaluation, presentation of results and performance reviews.
  • Regular market en competition monitoring as well as identification of new opportunities.
  • Professional and competent representation of the publishing house. 
  • Budget setting and monitoring.
  • Leiden local team management and development. 
Your Profile
  • 5 or more years of sales experience in the academic publishing industry including corresponding networks.
  • Professional customer management in combination with very good market knowledge.
  • Data affinity, interest in and familiiarity with digital technologies.
  • Excellent MS office and Internet skills and ideally experience with the use of CRM systems, ideally Sales Force.
  • Strong communication skills, intercultural sensitivity, also in change management, leadership, team and integration skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, other lanaguage skills are an advantage.
